Nov) Visitors came by often to watch the canoe being carved. Doug Chilton as the lead artist explains the progress of the project to anyone who came by. The Juneau Empire marks the progess of the canoe with photos in the newspaper. The canoe has a web cam for live-streaming video, accessed via the Sealaska Heritage Institute home page.
