Album Info:

At 2315 West Grace Street in Richmond. Built in 1838 by Thomas Talley. He was a city grocer and this was his place to grow produce. The city developed around it. Talley had a daughter, Susan, who admired E.A. Poe when she was young. He would come to call on her here. The tall ramparts that surrounded it during the War could still be seen in 1920.
