Age: 3 years Gender: Male (Soon to be neutered) Color: Liver and White Weight: 40 lbs Variety: Bench bred 8/01/07: Sam passed his heartworm test with flying colors and was neutered today. The good vet really loves this dog. Sam covers all bases by making up to every person he meets. He is improving on the leash and he goes on sit down strikes less often. He is a real people dog. The vet now places his age closer to 3 yrs. 5/24/07: Sam came to ESRA with a lot of matts, so many that the shelter listed him as Grace! Can you imagine? Now he has been shaved down a bit and is sporting a nice summer coat. Sam is a sweet dog. He's not too fond of his crate yet, but he's learning about house breaking. Sam learns easily, because he wants to please. He is very gentle and will become a wonderful, loving companion. Sam is now up to date on his shots, but needs to be neutered. He will start heart worm treatment this coming week; the vet feels he should come through with flying colors. After the treatment, he will be neutered.
