Age: 9 years Gender: Female Color: Liver/White Weight: 40 lbs. Variety: Field-bred Lizzie is a sweet, polite girl who is looking for a Forever Home. She comes to us as an owner relinquishment, due to a divorce and move. She was adopted 7 years ago from the Tacoma Humane Society at age 2. She was a great companion to the family, but it was too much for the newly-single mom who was caring for a newborn and teenager. A well-behaved girl, Lizzie knows commands such as Come, Sit, Shake, Lay down, and Leave it. She is housetrained, and never gets into trouble. She is very gentle with children, even the newborn baby. She is seriously obedient and good. Lizzie does well with other dogs and cats, even mean cats! She is always submissive with other animals when they are aggressive or dominant. Lizzie is a field-bred Springer who is on the petite side. She can run after a tennis ball forever, as she so enjoys fetching. She also loves the off-leash dog parks. Lizzie is so affectionate and people-oriented. She enjoys being petted and cuddling. We hope that she will find a Forever Home who will give her lots of love and companionship.
