Age: 10 years Gender: Male Color: Liver/White Weight: 84 lbs Variety: Field-bred Alex is the essence of mellow. When we are not home he is perfectly content to spread out on the couch and nap. When we are at home he likes to be close by but he doesn't have to be on our lap or anything (thank goodness considering he is over 80 pounds). He doesn't hesitate to come in search of affection, usually by nudging our hand or arm with his muzzle. He really enjoys walks, and does very well on a leash. He is now getting along very well with the other canine members of the family. He hasn't been exposed to cats so I don't know how he would do with them, but nothing about his personality would suggest that it would be a problem.
