Age: Senior Gender: Male Color: Black/White Weight: 52 lbs. Variety: Bench/Show-bred Hagrid came to the shelter as a stray, looking like he hadn't been groomed in several years. It's hard to imagine what led to such neglect, because at some time in his life he had been neutered and housetrained. He had ear and eye infections and dry skin that have been treated successfully. Now all he needs is some dental care, and he will be kissing fresh. Hagrid is pretty much deaf, and has some stiffness, but he gets around okay, and is the first one in line at feeding time. Hagrid loves attention, and gets along with other dogs just fine. He would make a wonderful companion for a special person who can see past the exterior and give him the love he deserves.
