My foster mom says that I am one of the happiest and friendliest boys she has ever met. She says I’m a perfect angel and the model house guest. I have not had a single accident since I’ve been here. I am house broken, I don’t get on furniture, I love everyone, especially children and other dogs (I’m not sure if I like cats – but I’m being tested with my kitty foster sister). And, I get along great with my springer foster sister who is seven years old! I’m a social butterfly and everyone that meets me falls in love with me – no one can believe that I am a rescue dog except for maybe my size, but I’m eating well now. I enjoy my walks because they give me a chance to explore the neighborhood and visit with other people and dogs. Oh, I’m also very athletic! I love playing in the backyard with a tennis ball or even just a stick. I can jump so high to catch the ball and always return it for another throw. I can also spring backwards about four feet from a sitting position, and would really be interested in learning some new tricks – I’m so smart! Those are my outside games - while inside I am calm but still enjoy carrying a tennis ball around just in case someone wants to play with me! But, I mostly like to be close to my foster mom when we’re in the house. I follow her where ever she goes when I am inside but am not bothered when she leaves me. And, when she sits or sleeps so do I – I sleep in my own bed all night long!. I really don’t need a crate, but I tried one out last night and I was quite happy to be there. I have not whined, growled or barked one time since I arrived here. I was great for our car ride to my foster home and immediately got into the shower without a problem.
