My foster mom loves me and tells me that I am wonderful and handsome – I’m house trained, well mannered and really just a laid back and easy going fellow. I’m very well trained – I know how to sit, lie down, and shake! Oh, I also understand many other words and my favorites are “treat” and “cheese!” The veterinarian gave me a clean bill of health last week except for one thing, I tested positive for heartworm. I have received the treatment for this, and I am a real trooper through it all! Everyone at the animal hospital fell in love with me and couldn’t believe what a sweet and brave boy I am – and, I loved all of the attention! My activities have to be limited for the next three weeks, but after that I’ll be just like new again. I enjoy taking walks and relaxing outside, I’m just not allowed to run or jump yet. But, I’m counting the days until I can because I look forward to playing and having some fun! I love all people and dogs, and I get along well with my seven year old foster sister. I’m great on a leash, in a crate and riding in the car. I’m always very gentle and don’t jump up on people or bark – I just smile and wag my tail instead!
