He has great markings with lots of ticking, and a graceful build. Hunter also came to rescue because his owner could not take care of him anymore. Hunter suffered a broken leg at 8 months. He had a couple of pins in his leg at one time, but the leg has healed well. He can now run, jump, and play like any other dog his age. He is neutered, and up to date with all his preventatives. He was in perfect health except a minor ear infection. Hunter really enjoys playing with other young dogs, although he is not a fan of intact males. He loves to scamper along the ground, play bow, and jump with a canine playmate. He has been exposed to cats, chickens, and kids. Hunter is very friendly and enjoys making new friends. Hunter has not had obedience training yet, but has learned sit in his short time in rescue. He is very bad about jumping up but he is learning. It's not that he wants to knock you down, but wants to get close to you. So we are teaching him to sit and then get petted. He loves to lick your hands and face. He rides beautifully in the car and will go to sleep. He is housetrained. He has the typical energy of a young fieldie and needs another young dog as a companion. He would also benefit from obedience training. A fenced yard would be another requirement for Hunter. Hunter is truly a sweetie who is bursting with love and affection for everyone.
