Album Info:
Found in the kill pen, a woman couldn't let the beautiful buckskin die. Taking her in, she nursed her the horse, who she named Spice, grew a bit heavier than whan she first came in. Strong legged, high withers, and a beautiful coat showing a promise for dapples along with a gentle, warming, wanting-to-please personaltiy, Spice was a desireable horse. Spice was still thin when my mother found her on the internet. Growing up with horses, being a former jocky, and not having a horse for fifteen years, my mother often daydreamed about having a horse. Just after finding that a buckskin mustang that she had decided to finally do something about, had been sold, my mother was even more exited about this one as we travled down for almost two hours to find the skinny buckskin mare. My mother found she was gaited (can go at a very smooth and comfortable pace at fast speeds)-which was something she wanted but had not hoped for- and that she was the perfect sise for her (My mother was small- only about four foot ten, hence the sise for being a jocky) and the horse was justy all around perfect. Buying her for 300, she knew that she and I would care for this hores and she would teach me tricks to do with things with her, like maknig her dapple and how to ride her and how to train her to gait better. When we got in the car, I asked if her name would stick, but my mother said no. My brother, at age 22 I didn't see him much, suggested naming her Bella, which mwans 'beautiful' in latin. We agreed. The next day, we took Bella to a freinds house who borded horses for good prices. We brushed her out and after the freind rode her, we came to the startling conclusion that she was a Rocky Mountian Horse, in which case, she could have been sold for as much as $4,000. Bella is still getting back to full weight and is happy and healthy in her new home.
