He came into the shelter with a buddy after being on their own for quite a while. Before he could rest comfortably at his foster home, Sonny had to make a quick trip to the groomers to remove all the painful burrs that were giving him grief. After just a few days at his new foster home, it was discovered that poor Sonny had a horrible case of parvo and was really sick, but he finally pulled through with flying colors! That's our Sonny, shining like the sun even through some dark days!! Sonny is an extremely beautiful dog! He is housetrained (even all night), he is crate trained, he doesn't chew at all, he likes to counter surf a little, but only to look, not to take anything! Sonny is pretty-good while walking on a leash, he doesn't bark, his favorite thing is just to be by his people at all times!! Oh yes, he loves to snuggle on the couch, or in the bed, or wherever you are! Sonny likes to play with cats, but just for fun, not to hurt anyone. He also likes other dogs and thinks kids are great!
