    • Sure you will- just wait until they get big and divide before or after flowering. Dig up the whole clump and gently pull it apart. Sometimes you have to use a couple back-to-back pitchforks and pry for tough clumps. Make sure each division has at least one fan of leaves and some roots. Trim the leaves back about 50%, and plant in good soil at the same depth it was growing before. Make sure it has enough water for a month or two. Day lilies are dead easy to divide, and usually bloom within a year so you can see which is Stella and which is your pretty "volunteer".
