Here you can see that I have separated the areas where I'm painting. I never paint things close together because if the next petal or surface is not dry, completely dry, you will have a problem with water and paint running into the old wash. Here I've used phtalo blue, cobalt blue and blue violet, with some yellow dropped in. I don't like that yellow blob there, it does not look that yellow really!
