Album Info:

Here's the little bench all painted and grunged up. Don't ask how I got it like this, because I was in a "frenzy" of different techniques--ha ha!

    • I like what you did! I love it when I find little benches like this. You're a girl after my own heart - searching and finding all the little goodies at the thrift shops... So fun... It's the thrill of the hunt. Sue

    • I spray painted it with flat black paint, rubbed the remnant of a beeswax tart all over it, and then painted it with my top color. I rubbed at it with steel wool, and that's the effect I got. But, I must tell you, my original top color was a sage green that I didn't care for, even though I rubbed a solution of Johnson's paste wax and antiquing gel on it. So, I just repainted the whole thing with the mustardy colored paint and rubbed it with steel wool. So, you can still see some of the green, which just adds to the look:)
