Age: 8 years Gender: Male Color: Black/White Weight: 40 lbs. Variety: Bench/Show-bred Rudy and Freckles came to us from a very sad situation where they were severely neglected. They had not been groomed in a very long time, and nobody had bothered to vaccinate them, except for the bare minimum rabies shot. The home they were taken from had about 6 other dogs, all in the same condition (or worse). They were never allowed outside, so you can imagine the filth in which they lived. The local SPCA turned both Springers down due to their neglected condition and their strange living situation. These adorable friends are currently in foster care and are now learning about human kindness. Matter of fact, they are adjusting very, very nicely to their new lives and have turned out to be the dearest and sweetest little snuggle bugs you could ask for. They are housetrained, have very nice manners, and crate fine. They are unknown with young children and cats. Rudy and Freckles can be adopted out together or separately. They are in separate foster homes now and are doing fine. Ideally, their new home will have a canine friend for them as they are accustomed to having a buddy around. Rudy is an awesome boy and simply irresisitable! He always seeks out affection and will "paw" you for more. He is happiest when he is in the company of his foster home's children, ages 10 and 12.
