Age: 5 years Gender: Female Color: Liver/White Weight: 38 lbs. Variety: Field-Bred Everyone that meets this little girl says she's ‘cute as bug'—and we fondly call her 'Lucy Bug.' Although she is five years old, she still looks like a puppy, and plays like a puppy. Lucy has so many wonderful things going for her: she is completely house trained, doesn't get on furniture or the beds, is crate trained (in fact she runs to her crate when told ‘let's go to bed'!), loves to go in the car and rides quietly in the back seat (well, actually she prefers the truck—easier to see out the windows!), doesn't beg for food. We have ‘kid tested' her with children ranging from three to eleven, and she was fine with them. She loved it when they ran all around the yard with her! She does ‘okay' with cats—she does want to harass them a bit and give chase, but so far has not shown any true aggression towards them. The only 'drawback' to Lucy that we have found is that she's not good with other dogs, so she should probably be in an only-dog home where she doesn't have to put up with other dogs' noses sniffing around. Lucy is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm negative. This little munchkin is so loving and such a sweetie, she really deserves that Forever Home of her own! .
