Age: 10 months Gender: Female Color: Liver/White Weight: 36 lbs. Variety: Field-bred On August 26th, Penny arrived here from a Bakersfield animal shelter thanks to devoted rescuers. She was picked up as a stray, dirty and flea-infested, and for the life of me I have no idea why nobody claimed her. She is a living doll and as sweet as they come. Housetraining was not necessary, as she has had no accidents. On trips in the car she lays quietly on the back seat, and does not bark or jump all over. Her leash manners are impeccable. At the vet's today she was calm and quiet, and went to sleep on the examination table. She left micro-chipped, heartworm tested (negative), and up-to-date on her inoculations. A clean bill of health was the result, with spaying scheduled for September 5th. She will be available for adoption a few days later. Loving, calm, gentle, and beautiful are just a FEW of the traits that describe her personality. Her entire rear end shakes when she greets you, as her tail is pretty much non-existent. It was docked shorter than usual. With her personality and charm, she will be adopted by the first person who comes to visit, as they will see for themselves what a wonderful loving companion Miss Penny really is.
