    • Is it used as a residence or part of the University?

    • I meant that the New London lighthouse was visible on the RIGHT, of course!

    • This is a great place for a walk, particularly in Winter! I had even considered going there myself, but went to New Haven instead. I love the beautiful view from the shore opposite this mansion, with islands and lighthouses visible in the distance, and the New London lighthouse visible on the shore to the left. I also like to watch the New London ferry travel back and forth. I was there a couple of years ago on a bitter cold day, but I enjoyed every minute of it. Nice angle for a shot of the mansion!
