Age: 6 years Gender: Female Color: Liver/White Weight: 47 lbs. Variety: Bench/Show-bred Chula, thru no fault of her own, is looking for a Forever Family. Her family decided to move to Mexico and couldn't take her with them. They took her to the shelter where a nice rescue person took her directly from the family and then called ESRA. At one time the family must have thought a lot of her because they gave her the name Chula, which means beautiful in Spanish. Chula came to us only knowing Spanish but has learned English quickly. You could say she is bi-lingual. Her foster Dad says she is a real lady that will follow you everywhere. She has a mellow, low activity personality and loves to cuddle. She is a good watchdog and will alert you to strangers or strange sounds. Chula is good with other dogs but would prefer to be the only one because she likes all the attention. Is fine with kids and when tested with the neighbor's cat just walked away from it with little interest. She has great house manners and rides well in a car. She enjoys walks. She knows some commands like Sit, Stay etc.
